I really enjoyed the discussion topic on Flipping lessons. The idea that this strategy opens up opportunities for differentiation and the chance to dive into deeper project-based learning makes this a very useful strategy. Our discussion on the challenges that may come up with the strategy really helped me to plan ahead to prevent these problems from becoming an issue in my classroom. Initially, I felt that flipping a lesson was a fun concept for the older classes. Having the opportunity to flip one of my own lessons as an assignment, however, proved that this is certainly a strategy I can (and will) use in with my kiddos.
I have really grown this summer in my view of integrating technology in the classroom. I look forward to learning more from my peers and sharing these ideas with co-workers and students!
